The Role

Want to take a lead role in shaping and telling the brand story of The Perth Mint? Does leading the content strategy and implementation for a truly global brand excite you? We are looking for a Content Manager & Editor with a strong eye for detail and a flair for the written word to join our team and lead the Mint’s content marketing function.

With content needs that span both B2B and B2C, from corporate communications to consumer marketing materials that reach 130 countries, you can expect to be challenged.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As our Content Manager & Editor, you will be responsible for owning the content marketing strategy, frameworks and writing style for The Perth Mint. You will guide the style and substance of our branded content, ensuring all online and printed material is consistent, clear and relevant to our audiences across the world. You will manage a sustainable, agile and responsive content calendar that reflects the brand’s key messages and propositions over time.

You will lead a small team, working as part of our global marketing team and collaborating with all business areas of the Mint to bring to life their core propositions in a structured, engaging and meaningful way.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive relevant experience in content management. A postgraduate qualification desirable;
  • Proven high level professional writing and editing skills, and the ability to source and research material;
  • Demonstrated ability in developing, managing and reinforcing an editorial policy or writing style across an organisation;
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and adapt technical information to a range of styles and for a range of audiences and media;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in content creation and management (creative, production, project management);
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects delivering a quality service;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships both internal and external to the organisation
