Job Description

Helen Keller International is an International non-profit organization (INGO) working in health and nutrition in Nepal since 1989 to improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. Helen Keller International, CARE, FHI 360, Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG), Digital Broadcast Initiative Equal Access (DBIEA), Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO), Vijaya Development Resource Center (VDRC) together are implementing USAID funded Suaahara II Program in 42 districts. Applications are invited from interested, committed, dynamic team players and experienced Nepali nationals for the following position:

Position: Program Documentation Specialist (no.1) Position based in Kathmandu

Summary of Job Purpose: This position will be responsible for capturing lessons learned, producing end of project documentation; produce high level technical writing across the full scope of Suaahara’s components and activities; develop knowledge products for government counterparts at all levels; work closely with the multisectoral program teams to document implementation processes, capture, synthesize and disseminate program results for a wider audience, national and global, for improved understanding of Suaahara’s programming approaches; translate data from measurement activities into infographic and summary formats that illustrate key findings for internal and external audiences, and support teams to integrate these findings (e.g., into communications materials, conference presentations, donor reports, internal presentations) MER Management, as needed.

Educational qualifications and experiences: Master’s degree in a related area [public health, health services research, population health, health education, health communication]; experience working in roles with a focus on knowledge sharing and learning and contributing to organizational knowledge management efforts preferred; strong writing skills and ability to synthesize information into clear, concise summaries; excellent oral and written communication skills in Nepali and English.
