ContractService Delivery Officer / Payroll

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Delivery Officer / Payroll Officer with experience utilising Aurion for a long term contract with potential to be permanent role.

Duties for the role and capabilities you must be able to demonstrate:

  •  Process payroll services payments as they relate to:
    o new appointees, changes to appointment status and progressional arrangements
    o pay entitlements, adjustments, deductions and leave etc.
    o separations, terminations and redundancy payments
  • Maintain personnel files.
  • Check data entered to ensure accuracy of processing.
  • Provide advice and assistance to internal and external clients in payroll related issues.
  • Apply service delivery standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of processing services.
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of relevant human resource and payroll related policies, entitlements, procedures and practices.
  • Assess and process payroll related transactions and requests in accordance with Awards, Directives, policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Provide accurate and timely human resource and/or payroll advice and information.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritise workloads and tasks and apply internal controls and quality control standards to support ongoing delivery of services.
  • Apply service delivery standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of processing services.
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of relevant recruitment and payroll related policies, entitlements, procedures and practices.

Following capabilities required:

  • Must have experience in Aurion 
  • 3-5 years payroll experience including interpretation of awards and EBA’s
  • High level computer skills in MS excel
  • Keyboard typing of at least 65 wpm
  • Problem solver with a good attitude and communication skills
  • Minimal error record
