Infection Control Coordinator

Manly Waters Private Hospital (MWPH) is a leading provider of Surgical, Rehabilitation & Medical services and is a part of the Macquarie Health Group.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse with Infection Control qualification and experience. The position is a part-time position with flexibility of days.

The successful applicant must have the following skills & experience:
-Current APHRA registration as Registered Nurse
-Member of the Australian Infection Control Assoc. -Qualifications in Infection Control Coordinator or working towards
-At least 5 years postgraduate health professional experience -Able to act as an advisor on all matters relating to Infection Control
-Knowledge of the Health care Standard 3 ACSQHC requirements
-Knowledge of HHA auditing processes
-Able to consult on relevant aspects of infection control policies & guidelines
-Certificate 4 TAE is desirable
-Knowledge of staff health immunisation & WH&S requirements related to IC is desirable.
