VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Jyoti Life Insurance Company Ltd., an upcoming Life Insurance Company, is seeking applications from positive, driven and result oriented candidates for the following positions:

Assistant General Manager – 2

Master’s degree holder, with at least six years’ experience at a senior managerial position within or banking sector, must be well-versed in acts, regulations and directives relating to insurance business. Must have proven track record of strategic decision making ability, excellent communicator with an ability to drive teams.

Senior Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager (Finance, Marketing/Sales, Underwriting, IT, Internal Audit and Compliance, General Administration, Agency, Claims, Reinsurance, Operations and HR) – Few

At least Bachelor’s degree holder (preference shall be given to Master’s Degree holder) with at least five years’ experience in a similar position within insurance or banking sector, Must have proven track record of strategic decision-making ability, excellent communicator with an ability to drive team. Preference shall be given to those with insurance sector experience.

Branch Manager – Few

At least Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with minimum four years’ experience within insurance or banking sector. Must be a fast learner, capable of multi-tasking and managing, both operations and sales within the Branch.

Senior Officer, Officer, and Junior Officer (Finance, Marketing/Sales, Underwriting, IT, Internal Audit and Compliance, General Administration, Agency, Claims, Reinsurance, Operations and HR) – Few

At least Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with minimum three years’ experience within insurance or banking sector. Must be a fast learner capable of multi-tasking and manage workload with minimal supervision.

Office Secretary – 1

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with at least one year experience at a similar position and capable of multitasking. Must have a pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills.

Senior Assistant and Assistant – Few

At least Bachelor’s level, with minimum one year experience within insurance or banking sector. Must have an open mind set to take up new challenges, good team player with an excellent attitude.

Junior Assistant – Few

At least +2 level pass but Bachelor’s level preferred. Any prior work experience will be on added advantage. Must be a fast learner and comfortable working in a team environment.

Please note:

• All candidates must be a Nepali Citizen
• Computer skills is mandatory for all roles preferably also with Nepali typing
• Preference shall be given to candidates with insurance background but not mandatory
• Age of candidates should not exceed the following:
  – 45 years for Assistant General Manager
  – 40 years for Managers including Branch Manager
  – 35 years for the remaining
