Due to the recent award of a five-year maintenance services contract with a Global Oil and Gas client, there is a great opportunity available for a Core Maintenance Scheduler. The primary purpose of this role is to initially support the client and build relationships with key stakeholders involved in the contract.

This role will play a key part in the first stages of this maintenance contract on site. You will be responsible for the planning and management of maintenance services systems across multi-disciplinary activities. In hand with scheduling and support of the core maintenance team for pre planning and execution. This position is a FIFO 2 week on; 2 weeks off roster.

Other duties include:

  • Creating the initial maintenance plans for the appropriate work orders.
  • Perform field reconnaissance developing MTO’s and identifying resource requirements hours and plant and equipment
  • Compiling the maintenance schedule for the planned & emerging work
  • Loading CMMS data into JDE
  • Support and develop ABU strategic planning and scheduling process.
  • Liaise closely with Maintenance and Production Co-ordinators to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution activities are met.
  • Delivering the schedule to required deadlines
  • Control, monitors & analyses the 7 day CWS and 28 day look ahead plan metrics to ensure efficiencies
  • Chair weekly asset planning meetings with relevant department heads
  • Leverages opportunistic maintenance opportunities from un-planned outages. Manages work list and schedules on an ongoing basis to ensure readiness
  • Continually promote and demonstrate commitment to a safe working culture.To be successful you must have:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas Industry Shutdown and Maintenance Planning  /or in a similar capacity
  • Must have an engineering or trade qualification
  • Experience with work order/ workpack development & execution
  • Understanding of estimating processes and associated principles
  • Able to interpret engineering standards, specifications and drawings
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach with strong work ethics
  • Has a sound knowledge of QA/ QC requirements for B/P, Insulation, cladding, welding, mechanical manufacturing, fabrication and testingPrevious experience in maintenance CMMS Systems (i.e. Primavera Enterprise (P6.6/7/8), JDE, SAP, Maximo) or equivalent is desirable together with a proven track record within the LNG sector. A Mechanical or E&I trade qualification would also be highly regarded.
