An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and self motivated person to assist in the delivery of a broad range of services to Members and Guests at this private golf club. The Brisbane Golf Club has a rich history dating back to 1896 and was one of the founding golf clubs in Brisbane. The Club has a major emphasis on providing a superior golfing experience for its 1600 Members and their guests. The Brisbane Golf Club is the current host of the Isuzu Queensland Open & is ranked in the Top 100 golf courses in Australia.

The Golf Services Department is a primary provider of members services through competition management, retail shop, driving range and the provision of golf tuition.

A major component of this advertised role requires the candidate to have experience in golf operations & retail within a Golf Club environment.  The Golf Services team currently consists of 11 staff, so your ability to work successfully within a small team is vital.  Experience using the MiClub software system would also be considered favourably.

Other desirable criteria would include a current Rules of Golf Certificate, current First Aid Certificate and current or previous membership of a Golf Club.

The successful applicant will be required to work a range of hours, including weekends and public holidays. The role will be a casual position offering an estimated 15-20 hours per week.
