The SAARC Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS Centre (STAC) invites applications from qualified Nepalese Candidates for the following posts. The post of Accountant is re-advertized against the vacancy announcement published in Gorkhapatra on 26 January. 2017.

1.Position Title: Accountant (GSS-II)- One

Age: up to 40 (Forty) years

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in B.Com/BBS/BBA

Working Experiences:

• At least 5 years relevant experiences on related post after Bachelor’s Degree . Competent to handle financial matters independently using computer software. including budgetary control fund release and audit. Experience in financial management of foreign / donor agency and large government enterprise will be of added advantage and command over written and spoken English is must. Should have proven knowledge and skill in computer use. Must be competent in using internationally accepted accounting frameworks as well as Tally software

2.Position Title: Laboratory Technician (GSS-III) – one

Age:  up to 40 (Forty) years

Minimum Qualification;

• Proficiency Certificate/Intermediate Level in Medical Laboratory Technology

Working Experiences and skills:

• Minimum 3 years experience in National/Regional/District Hospitals or Institutions Laboratory recognized by Government of Nepal. The candidates who have experiences in recognized TB or HIV/AIDS Laboratory in the area of spunim microscopy. culture and drug susceptibility testing. HIV testing and quality assurance activities will be given priority.
  Training; TB laboratory, Computer skills including various office applications. Training on HIV/AIDS laboratory will be preferred
